Vivisection The opponents to vivisection are more prominent than the proponents of vivisection. The former are known as Anti-Vivisectionists whereas the latter are probably better known as scientists or businessmen. Anti-Vivisectionists have been around for a long time, and have shared interests, historically, with the anti-slavery movement. According to the Irish Times, the Green Party has published a Bill to ban laboratory testing on primates in Ireland. This is an interesting subject: is the issue political or not?
